He thought it was really cool that the leaves on
his shirt matched the ones on the ground.

RCAP or ART CAMP

Boy things have changed. I was in high school when I joined my first club. Harrison is in art club, or as he calls it "camp". He likes it so much that he made a sign for his bedroom door and pretends to have it in his room. Below is my favorite project to date. He started working with acrylic paint and canvas this week.

HALLOWEEN:

Sully was going to be a frog and wouldn't wear the costume. So he was an engineer and a very sweet one. After every house, he would pick up the candy and say, "My favorite!" like in Owen's Marshmallow Chick by Kevin Henkes. Harrison was "The Thing" from Fantastic Four and really loved trick or treating. Last year he wanted to go home early and hand out the candy he had collected. We were out for almost two hours and had a great time.

TO ILLUSTRATE MY LAST REMARK...

JONAH AND THE WHALE...
Harrison had to do a book report and decorate a pumpkin like his favorite character. He made a Jonah pumpkin and "great fish" from a squash. Bob carved the boat. He is very proud of it.

HARRISON & SULLY + JESSICA & ALEX =

I can't believe we have four kids between us!
Monica and I have been friends for almost 29 years (guess we met shortly after birth). Sometimes it's hard to believe we are doing the married with kids thing. Seems like we should still be going to camp or mad that we're not in the same homeroom again.
