FOUR AND A HALF

Anyone that has talked to Sully recently know his age. He tells it to you within seconds of meeting you. It usually goes something like this:
Stranger- "What are you eating there?"
Sully- "I'm four and a half."
Friend's Mom- "Oh Sully! I like your pants."
Sully- "I'm four and a half."
Waitress- "What would you like to drink?"
Sully- "I'm four and a half."
Since he is a summer birthday, he gets to celebrate a half birthday at school. Part of the birthday celebration is getting to bring home the class pet, Maggie Dog. He had the best time with Maggie. She ate a lot and even got to sport some build-a-bear clothes. Here he is reading Boomer Goes To School to her...

and enjoying a cinnamon roll the next morning... and a few chips n' salsa...
then on to the basketball game and playground... we had to return Maggie, but there was still a party to be had...

~happy four and a half~

BE MINE...

Sully had to make Valentines for both Pre-K classes. He is so goal oriented that he would have completed them in one sitting had it not been time for Harrison's carpool. He wouldn't even let me read the names or letters to him in the end. He had it totally under control. I'm not sure if it was because he knows the importance of homework. Maybe it was because he doesn't think one should procrastinate and was trying to set a good example.

Or

Maybe

It

Was

Because

He

Knew

This

Was

Coming...

When I asked him to point to his favorite,
he had to answer with jazz hands...

BATMAN FOREVER

So derby days are here again and this year's car is the Batmobile. Harrison came in first for speed in his rank and made it to the pack finals. We find out on Thursday night how he did and the top three finishers go to district. Here is a clip put together by our friend, Claus. Harrison's car is the second from the left and Alexander's is in the next lane. Check it out...

NEW TOY

my "use it until it dies or I find a good sale" mentality has paid off once again and I now have a new washer and dryer! woo-hoo! yep... I know... I'm sad... but I did get a good deal and I no longer have to tape the washing machine door shut or worry about burnt spots from the dryer (aka: roaster). it was nice being able to dry a pair of jeans in 14.3 minutes tho... the boys are equally excited. maybe a little more excited... I didn't crawl in to have a better look. by the way, let me know if you ever need tape recommendations for a front loading washing machine door. all packing tape is not created equal...

PUNK!

Sully takes forever getting out of the van. So I've started leaving him in the carport and going on about my day. He was taking longer than usual, so I peeked outside to make sure he was ok. This is what I saw...
