FULL HOUSE

we had five kids...

three turtles...

and one dog that wasn't very eager to get in touch
with his inner-jerry...
and on a more serious note, my neighbors' basements started flooding five days before the awful floods that wrecked many georgia counties and that is what I was referring to in my previous post. we didn't have any damage and are very thankful.

OH, THE RAIN CAME DOWN

and the floods came up.
The rain came down
and the floods came up.
The rain came down
and the floods came up
and the house got totally trashed!

but we had fun :)
and admit it-
you were doing the hand motions, right?

HE'S FIVE!

It has taken me a while to do a post about Sully's birthday because the celebration lasted all month. It was poor planning on my part, but lots of fun.
First we have the mushroom cupcakes. It was a Mario Kart themed party with a few friends from church and school. I figured out kids really just want to play with each others toys. So I skipped the expensive jumpy or entertainer and we played Wii, in the playroom, and in the yard. Sassy did an incredible job on the cupcakes... as always...

so many toys...
so many good friends...
A few days later, Grandpa and Sassy brought Chick-fil-a
and LEGOs!
Then a couple of days later, I had the brilliant idea to do a mega-playdate on his actual birthday. Seven. Boys. Total.
But they traded Bakugan, gave each other wedgies using the pulley on the tree house, made pizzas...
and martians.
Sully collected items for Noah's Ark instead of gifts. We delivered them the next day with the help of friends and family...
John, Anna, Harrison, Alex, Sully and Jess
don't ask...

watching ducks...
We did Popsicles instead of cake.
and look how much fun everyone is having... especially the moms... settle down, ladies. they might call the cops if you keep that up...
I lifted a baby duck. And much like the scene in Sabrina when David forgets he has champagne glasses in his back pockets...
AND. FINALLY.
The last Friday of the month was the celebration of August birthdays at school.
