A HUNTING WE WILL GO...

for a pumpkin we can cut from the vine. The big ones had already been cut, but we did find some other things to do while at the farm. Like... ride the cow train
almost meet our maker
(the sign wasn't kidding)
the ground was smoothed by the bodies of rocketing children.
shoot the corn cannon
pose
corn maze!
Sully would shout "CORN!" every time he saw an ear.
fascinated.
Harrison's attempt at Rob hair.
pickin' cotton.
They were so proud of climbing to the sumit. I was saying, "be careful or you will...
fall."racing
and racing
and more racing.
and some roping.
and more climbing.
and a hayride with some hipsters. They liked Harrison's hair.
"Hey, baby. You check in out my pumpkin?"
shadow puppets!
some more corn
and we did buy pumpkins.
that we soon carved.
Happy Halloween!

FL (PARTS 2-5)

2- The Hotel
the ICW, right Uncle Wes?

This is why they call it the Bridge Hotel. The boys are on the steps in the bottom right corner. They should have called it the Iguana Hotel.3- THE BEACH!! Sully, Harrison, Ryan and Reese Lets pause for a moment to reflect on Rere's (aka: B) childcare skills. Here we have a nice little jaunt in the ocean so Reese can enjoy the gentle waves... Next Reese goes looking for help after a sandy tangle with the goggles. If she could just find B...And lastly, where is Reese now? Oh, who cares!4- On to the wedding...
Team Sunburn Snack, anyone? Wes & Nichole limo ride and fun reception... Grandmother didn't catch the bouquet... 5- The ride home.
We stopped at Downtown Disney for some Legos and sight seeing and bone diggingLook what I dug up. and posing and more posing... We stopped at Wes and Emilee's for the night and made our way back to frigid Atlanta. I think we skipped fall this year and went straight to winter.

CAPTAIN MASTER UNCLE WES TURNS 32!

Now we pause for the collective, "Really? He's that old? Boy, time flies..."
now on with the show:

We went to FL over Presidents' Day weekend. Our first stop was Wes and Emilee's for some birthday fun. Here are the boys after the school, six hours in the car and dinner with Emilee's parents. It was nice to meet them. They were very nice and the boys held it together at dinner... whew... time to relax until...

cake time!and gift time! Here is the description of Sully's painting:
It has a yellow contraption that grows an elephant ear out of it every once and a while. It’s a rocket that’s a fork. The lava makes an ink sound to the Racer X snail. The electricity for the blue stuff makes the ink get higher and it shoots up and has a giant pitchfork. And the giant pitchfork has a line of great goop across it. The human was a laboratory scientist and he turned into a black laboratory scientist. The black scientist does 1100 meters of goop in a line.

If you look closely, you can spot all those things. It even reads "1100" in green at the top.

We also gave CMU Wes some Halloween decorations since Sully is convinced that no house should be left undecorated! Uncle Wes never misses a chance to torment... dogs are no exception. I can tell Libby is plotting her revenge. Emilee's birthday was the next morning and we went to breakfast to get our "vacation-bacon" fix. Then we left for Cuba... well, almost. more pictures to come... We had a great view of the ICW!
