LUNCHING AT THE CANYON

Harrison went with a Boy Scout troop camping at Cloudland Canyon to see if he wanted to continue with scouting after he completes Webelos 2. I can't believe this is his final year as a cub... They cooked a turkey with a bucket and had a lot of fun. He's going to continue and try to make Eagle. :)

SULLY'S 7TH

We went to see Spy Kids 648 for Sully birthday. It really wasn't 648, but it sure seems like the ran out of ideas for good Spy Kids movies 647 movies ago...

But he had cake and friends... that's all that matters.

ROCK CLIMBING

On this day we learned a few things-
Carolyn is part spider.
Sully is a huge chicken.
Harrison is no longer paralyzed by heights.
Troy likes to talk to complete strangers (ok... this is not news) and they love talking to him.

I think we've found a new hang-out.

I'M GOING TO MISS IT WHEN IT'S GONE...

The junk yard around Pop and Darlin's house is in it's last stages. I'm glad to see the cars go. Some will be recycled and some will be refurbished. I loved playing here as a child. I loved going through the glove compartments and finding old post cards. I love finding a nest under a seat or an unopened adult beverage. It was like a giant treasure hunt and the jewels were all in our imagination. So we went to collect hubcaps one afternoon with Pop-Pop and cousins. We found a lot and had a good time. The boys even found a few treasures (random Ford parts) that are floating around our house and van.
