VERBIAGE FROM OUR RESIDENT CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST

We now have a phrase we use when one of the kids starts to loose it. We have an "engine check" and "put the brakes on" and fix things before somebody gets punched...or worse. So Harrison tells me that he thinks we should say, "You are getting very verby!" Why? "Because verbs are action words and that would mean there is too much action!" I can see the self-help books already....he has started writing books to teach Sully how to stay on green!

Today we were going down the road and I said, "Wow! Look at those big, gray clouds". He says, "You mean those nimbus clouds or the cumulonimbus clouds?" I'm studying Wikipedia so next time I can answer, "No. The cumulonimbus with mammatus"...like I'm all smart or something. I might even adopt a fake British accent.

And then there is another one right behind him. I'm cleaning Harrison's room today....yes I was cleaning...and I came across one of those fake credit cards from junk mail. Sully picks it up and says, "Where did that come from?"...pauses for reflection..."I know what it is. That can't be good!"

Well cherio, old bean! Guess I'll spend some money and study cloud formations...
