THE OTHER SCOUT

Sully will disappear into the back of the house for a while. I'll assume he's playing with Lego's until he pops up looking for the perfect shoes to go with his camping/scouting outfit. I love how he actually matches and always chooses camouflage. He also has a backpack complete with the two camping essentials that REI does not carry- a super-soaker and an Indiana Jones whip... He also does this when he's a spy... but he wears more black and carries an Indiana Jones satchel.

First we have Sully's Choir. I would tell you where to find him, but if you don't see him then we need to have a talk. Sully's video can be a sort of vision test and if your insurance is anything like mine... you'll be happy for the free evaluation.

Next is Harrison's choir. He is past the director's head in a green shirt and jeans.

I can't figure out how to edit Sully's family picnic show or Harrison's piano recital videos. So you just get a picture of them with their fabulous teachers...

only two more school events, two more games, two banquets, one scout meeting, and six days of school before summer!!

EVERYTHING OLD...

is new again.

Notice the friendship bracelet Harrison is wearing. I haven't made one in at least 15 years and now the boys are asking for them... but they call them bravery bracelets. And while I was watching him eat his snack it hit me that I probably bought this shirt-

because something about it reminded me of this shirt- and for the record, I wasn't talking about Brandie and I when I said everything old!

So Sully is in the backyard playing with some rolly pollies and rainwater (we certainly have no shortage of either). He said he made them "a nice little beach area". I question him and he says they are going swimming on their own. So I keep doing flashcards with Harrison. A few minutes later, I glance over and see Sully placing a rolly polly on a piece of mulch. So I asked him, "Sully are you drowning the rolly pollies." And he yells back, "No. I'm teaching them to surf."

So I had a couple of events to shoot and rented a camera. I'm in love. Bob keeps urging me to purchase it, but I know it's just all part of his plan. His plan to claim that I just had a big electronics purchase and he should be able to get a new television. Our t.v. died back in February (I think?) and life isn't so bad. We still have the one in the bedroom and it gets like 30 cable stations... that is how tech-savvy we are... 30 stations is something to be proud of... why when I was little, we only had 9...
