DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?

It's cousin, it's cousin time...

Troy working on garden #5. Child labor rocks!Swim lessons!
Freestyle Sully...Backstroke Troy... Backstroke Carolyn...
Breaststroke Harrison...
Face-stuffing Rita's...
Troy planted everything veggie I had bought or seeded. We went looking for more...
Child labor rocks!
sweet potatoes!

Carolyn, Harrison, Sully and Troy weeded and planted everything veggie or otherwise, so we went looking for more...
explored Mr. Harm's backyard and
bought more $1 plants.
All that work made them really hungry. So they got a very special treat (drum roll please....) Clean Out The Fridge Night!! It was so fabulous that it spawned spontaneous robot dancing.
(Yes, I have taught my children that leftovers are a special occasion and that child labor rocks!)

It wasn't all work and lessons...
We climbed some trees.
Ate hibachi.
Oh how we love the chef's jokes...
Went to the car wash because (wait for it...)
Child Labor Rocks!!
(Carolyn was at a play date and was sad she didn't get to clean out the van. I'm not being sarcastic. When I told her what our plans were and let her choose if she wanted to go to the friends' house or stay home she said, "You didn't say I would miss cleaning out the van." ???)
They earned a trip to Brewster's.

And look who drove by when we got home?! First time I've ever seen him in our neighborhood.
No, they are not chasing the ice-cream man. They are running to church. We raced. I won.
Troy was selected to sing and dance at closing assembly.
We climbed some more trees.
and went to the museum
to see the geckos
and lightening bolts.

I wore the little boogers out...
And on our last night together, we went to the drive-in. Cousin time is over, baby...
