MEDIEVAL "GOOD" TIMES

real swords...metal swords...swords that will cut things...
the newest incarnations of the fake smile
after some spare ribs, pepsi and sword-slinging action...the smiles were real
~ the knights~
~the groupie~
the chick in front of us paid for the whole seat, but she only needed the edge..."ching, ching, ca-ching, I know how to block my head now, ching, ching..." and so it goes, and goes, and goes...
sully was quickly back to lego dreaming...
so if you had told me I was going to get to see a cool performance by some long-haired guys that looked like they had done a little too much partying last weekend...I would have guessed these guys...columbia, s.c. on april 18th? anyone?

4 YEARS LATER

We've started to work on the house again and boy does it feel great! Sully has never been around for one of these undertakings. I guess he was here when we built the shop, but poor Harrison lived in or around a construction mess the first four years of his life.

Bob made us a new table for the booth. Sully helped him put the beast together after we lugged it in the house.

"Ooohhh! It is so smooth and shinny. I shall fetch the markers, play-dough, glitter, glue, paint, tape, and feathers.
muwhahaha! Muwhahaha! MUWHAHAHA!" Look for more home improvement posts.
I need you all to hold me accountable.
don't worry...I'm not going to show you the basement...YET...

5:45

One thing I really miss about the old house is the natural light. Our living room was tiny, but it had three big windows, a plate glass door, and white walls. I have the best pictures of Harrison's big blue eyes. At 5:45 the light comes in through a small window that was originally made for window unit. I collapsed on the sofa watching the boys play and Sully covered my legs with a white quilt. I saw it! The light we used to have so effortlessly at the old house. So I grabbed the camera and made them all sit for a picture...even with tofu cuties smeared all over their faces.

and I'm not the only one entertained by the light... at 5:45 we smack the pillows and try to catch the dust.
