LET ME START BY SAYING...

my camera died in San Diego. Before it died, I took many many pictures. I'm still sorting them. There will be a Spring Break post, but it might not be until Summer Break. So my photos are not up to par. But I try to teach my kids that things do not have to be perfect to enjoy them. Except when it comes to the placement of Star Wars action figures. You can not have a Clone Pilot Oddball where you should have Commander Rex. That is a given, but as for the blog... don't expect much in the way of photographic excellence from my $45 craig's list gem.

The blah that is winter has passed. We are playing harder, sleeping better and getting ready for summer. The creative juices are flowing...

Here are a couple of things the boys made me yesterday. Sully made a mom and baby heart. Harrison made a boiled egg with rosemary that he cut from the yard. He ate half and saved half for me. Unfortunately, I had just killed three of those Crystal Light flavored water packets and wasn't really in the mood for boiled egg. Those things are so addicting (the water, not the eggs). But he said it was tasty...
Today was all about poetry. Any time that wasn't spent on piano, choir, homework, or sneaking to the neighbors' to watch television was spent writing poems. Here is my favorite (as he wrote it):

Toy

The Toy
is
a Mase
with
many parts
and
when you go
in It
you have
to go throu
many thinges
and then
you come
out
agin
It would
be quite an
etvincher.

Every day is an etvincher around this place! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!
